Bafta awards

BAFTA The Bafta Awards are the most important film and television awards in British cinema, awarded annually by the British Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Television (BAFTA) since 1947. The awards are in the form of a theatrical mask designed by the American sculptor Mitzi Cunliffe.

Although there are some categories that only take into account the works made in the UK, such as Best British Film, Best Writer's Debut or British Director, Best British Short Film and Best British Animated Short Film, the other categories of the Bafta Awards are open to any nationality
