The 25st edition of the Málaga Film Festival was held from 18 to March 27, 2022 in the city of Malaga in Spain, awarding the best films from a large part of the world. The president of the jury for the main competition was Manuel Gutiérrez Aragón. The movie Código Emperador, opened the festival.
A total of 1.949 films from 53 different countries were screened at the Festival.
